Day 273 Kamphaeng Phet – Nan (Thailand) / motorbike GS Dakar RTW overland adventure traveller

4th January 2015
Leave 10.15am
Miles rode 233 (373km)

After a tiring days ridding yesterday I slept in. Ridding the motorbike today was much better, I was off the highway and on smaller less crowded roads. As I ventured further into Northern Thailand the roads emptied and at 12.30 the road started to climb through amazing jungle and there were virtually no cars around, how wonderful to get back to nature, no tourists and ridding by myself, very happy.

I met some really helpfully people today who can help with ridding in Laos & Cambodia and the day was topped off with a drink with fellow bikers in the chilled town of Nan.
